About R.J. Carignan Insurance Agency

The Carignan Agency currently employs 10 full time staff including in-house claims service representatives with the authority to draft claim checks. This enables us to more effectively settle losses in a timely manner for our 3500 insureds.

Our primary carriers are 10 of the strongest names in the insurance industry, including CNA, The Hartford and General Accident Insurance Co.. This line up of innovative and aggresive commercial insurance underwriters allows the Carignan Agency to market risks effectively and select the most appropriate carrier to handle the exposure of our insureds. We also have the capacity to solicit outside our licensed carriers in the open brokerage market. This allows us the flexibility of approaching every possible market to place difficult or specialty risk programs.

Agency owner and principal Donald M. Petro, CIC, with over 30 years of insurance industry experience at both the company and agency levels, continues to oversee agency operations. This type of hands on management is the basis for our growth, success and reputation as a top flight, full service Insurance Agency.
