R.J. Carignan & Co., Inc. was established in 1935 as The
Reginald J. Carignan Insurance Agency. Our founder, Reg Carignan, a
real estate broker and owner of the Troy Fifth Avenue Bus Company,
determined that the most effective way to manage the risk of his own
business ventures was to open his own insurance agency. In the last half century, The Carignan Agency has grown to be one
of the largest insurance agencies in Troy. We have developed a
reputation for our ability to place and service insurance and risk
management programs for contractors, manufacturers and
municipalities. Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive coverage to
insureds at the lowest expense without compromising service.
